The Slowpoke, a new online journal about living a simple, local and authentic life, published a lovely little piece on Happy Glamper! Click here for the full post or read below:

Down the very south end of our glorious country, tucked into its own little nook of Victoria, lies the Mornington Peninsula. Home to a great host of nature lovers, campers and folks who like to escape any city-based madness, and Jessie and Scott Curtis-Griffiths are two of them.

Having started Happy Glamper in the area after importing their first Airstream for their event hire business Airstream Dreams, Jessie and Scott have set up a genius way to explore the area and its natural nooks, without the hassle of setting up yourself, and in their stunning range of Airstream caravans and canvas tents. Too good!

Able to be set up just about anywhere in the region (or anywhere else for that matter if you happen to ask nicely enough!) the Happy Glamper crew will drive your accommodation to your booked spot and have it ready to go for you with everything you could possibly need – all you need to do is turn up ready to enjoy the peace and quiet.

“Going camping is the best way I know to disrupt my daily routine and shift my focus back to the things that matter,” says Jessie, of why she thinks camping, and glamping, is the bees knees. “It’s my way of celebrating a love of individualism, the nomadic life and being sustainable. And, after a trip away, I’m always more balanced and brimming with ideas due to the change in perspective! Camping immerses you in a region’s raw beauty – every trip away is enhanced by the time of year, local topography and wildlife. It gives you a different way of viewing your world and bonding with your loved ones.”
