The first wedding we ever did was for the beautiful Dale and dapper Luke in country Victoria in August 2014. We provided 20 bell tents and our Airstream ‘Peggy Sue’ as the bridal suite. This relaxed bohemian wedding was whimsical, unforgettable and blessed with stunning weather – we were simply thrilled to have been a part of it!

Dale and Luke’s wedding took place at Dale’s mum and step dad’s property, ‘The Elm’, situated in Greta South (country Victoria). ‘The Elm’ is set on 10 acres of amazing land, with a flowing creek, gorgeous open gardens and towering gums, which created a tranquil and intimate atmosphere. With the sun setting beyond the creek and behind the tall trees, the setting made for the most stunning backdrop for their wedding ceremony.
When twilight fell, fairy and festoon lighting lit up the banks of the creek, while fire pits kept guests warm enough to party the night away in the giant teepees and under the stars. ‘It was a truly incredible day,’ said Dale.
The theme of Dale and Luke’s wedding was ‘relaxed bohemian’ to reflect their laid-back spirits and relaxed approach to life. With the styling expertise of Nomad Styling and Luke’s awesome DIY skills, they were able to execute their ultimate vision for the day. Every element of the wedding was designed to incorporate a relaxed, laid-back vibe, without any structure.
To ensure guests didn’t have to stray far from the reception, Dale and Luke also organised Happy Glamper to come in and set up the most amazing high-class tents, decked out with beds, rugs, bunting and everything else needed to be a “glam camper”. The couple also arranged a coffee van to come and serve cappuccinos and hot chocolates the next morning, along with a BBQ breakfast, to assist with the bleary eyed and foggy headed guests.
